Long-term rental house

A Showcase of Life

X4 : No.4 is the fourth and final house in a collection of four long-term rental homes, each with its own character and design concept. A Showcase of Life imagines architecture as a canvas for the stories, habits and everyday rituals of its inhabitants.

Furniture expresses the way people live, while the materials of the floors, walls and ceilings form a setting in dialogue with nature. The design explores how light, shadow, temperature and moving air shape the experience of these surfaces throughout the day. Together, furnishings and architecture create a home whose character emerges through the relationship between daily life and its environment.
